Tonight we spent the evening at falls park for the annual "Winter Wonderland" display. The city puts this event on every Christmas and decorates the multi-acre park with lights and christmas decorations. There were horse-drawn wagon rides, holiday music sung by carolers dressed in vintage clothing, ice-sculptures, cookies, hot chocolate, a visit from Santa & Mrs. Claus and live reindeer. There was even a Camel there. Any rate, it was a lot of fun and even better, it was completely free. Perfect for a family on a budget! Unfortunately, the kids tolerance for the event was short lived due to the fact that it was 9 degrees outside. Poor little Scott was so bundled up that he reminded me of Randy in the Christmas story. All he need to yell was that "he can't put his arms down" and he would of fit the mold perfectly. Scott also was cracking us up and everyone around us because he keep screaming at a Helicopter that was flying over the park that he apparently was mistaking for Santa Clause himself. He is such a funny kid.
The park in full lighting.
