Lorryns home!

Heidi and Lorryn were released from the hospital today with a clean bill of health. Now that some of the swelling is down, we thought we would show a few more pictures. Heidi is very grateful to be home and looks forward to getting back into a routine. On another note, Avery's last day of school was today. She is very excited to start her summer vacation. We hope everyone is well.

Its a girl!

Well to our surprise and it is a girl. She arrived around 8 am and weighed 7 lbs 9 oz. I think she looks like my grandpa slater or a some African spider monkey. However Heidi doesn't like me saying that....the protective maternal instincts are setting in already..j/k. She is very cute and we were very excited that it was a girl. We haven't settled on a name yet but we will keep you posted.

Soccer Season is now over.

Avery decided to try her hand at soccer this year and I decided to coach. It was an interesting season. First off, I know nothing about soccer and frankly don't care for the sport. However, I was teaching six year olds....how hard could it be. Overall it wasn't too bad but I must admit it did try my patience. The kids had fun though. We led the league with an undefeated season, don't get too excited...you should have seen our competition. Avery scored 2 goals this year and had a few saves as the goalie. She is very pleased with herself. Scott was stark raving mad on the sidelines because he couldn't understand why he couldn't play. I don't know if we will play in the summer league. While Avery had fun, she seemed more interested in playing in the grass, holding hands with her friend Sydney or dancing than actually playing the game. So we will see if she wants to do it again. Here are some highlights.

Scott likes to coach with me if he can.

Grandma Stewart is here

Sorry for the delays in posting. Just haven't felt up to it but many family members have been complaining. Grandma Stewart has joined our household until the baby arrives. So we took her out to see falls park and a few of the other scenic sites around town. A little update on Heidi, lots of contractions but nothing that indicates labor. She is not pleased to say the least. Any rate, it looks like Sunday night they will induce her if nothing precipitates. We will keep you all posted.

A nice side profile of Heidi's belly...I think she's ready!
