More stuff

A lot has happen since our last post. Scott and Avery started school. Scott is in prekindergarden and Avery in 2nd grade. They both love it. In fact, Scott refers to school as "absolutely awesome". We got a new car, thanks to the Stewarts. Yes the pink Rodeo has officially died. We also attend the Sioux Falls arts festival. However the biggest event is that I turned 33. As a result, we went on a camping trip to celebrate. More for a much needed vacation than for my Bday itself. It was a blast. We invited some friends and took the kids to Camden National Park in Minnesota. We chose that park because it is relatively close to Sioux Falls but still could provide us with some trout fishing. However, once we arrived, the river was blown out and flows were very high due to the crazy amount of water we received this year. So our fishing consisted of a small lake full of blue gill, bass and crappie. The kids loved fishing for blue gill. Avery caught 27 fish and Scott caught 18 in just a few hours time. The worst part was the weather. It was cold!!! Highs in low 60's and lows in 40's. The first night there was a little miserable. In fact, Scott slept in my sleeping bag and Avery slept with Heidi. Needless to say, Heidi and I didn't sleep at all. I included some of our favorite picts.

Camping fun

The kids loved some stick swings we made. They played on them almost constantly.

My favorite picture of the trip

Lorryn was a hand full and was always trying to jump in the lake. So heidi fashioned up this little rig to keep her close to us.
