Long time no talk

So it has been a while since we posted. Sorry about that. It is true that we have been busy although some of it is admittedly laziness. Well, since we last talked we have had a couple visits from family. Heidi's parents came out in May. My mom came out in July and Heidi's sister, her kids and heidi's mom came out the first week of August. It has been a good summer and the kids loved having all the family out to visit. Ok just to catch everyone up to date, Scott graduated from preschool, Lorryn thinks she is the queen of the castle and Avery had her half-birthday (she wanted a summer party but her birthday is in November...so we celebrated it a little early). She is also moving into the too cool for mom and dad phase. Avery spends every waking moment outside with her friends. Scott, on the other hand is a hermit and frankly, we believe he will spontaneously combust if sunlight touches his skin....its killing us. We can't get him to go outside for anything. "It's too hot, it's too cold, there are too many bugs, my legs hurt from walking into the kitchen!"..we have heard it all.
Lorryn ate a marker!

I am just glad to see that even as busy as CRNA school is, you can still find a little time for fun!! Are you able to see the light at hte end of the tunnel yet? You should be getting close right? Russ has started the application process for this fall, so hopefully we will be finding out that he has been accepted somewhere soon.

So far he is planning to apply to Mount Marty, Westminster, U of Texas, Texas Westland,Excela in Pensylvania, buffalo, and a few more. He still needs to take the GRE, then we will see for sure where he actually applies. A good word at Mt. Marty would be awesome!!
