Sorry for the delay

It has been a while since we posted any real information about how our lives have been. Between clincals and the holidays, we have found little time to post on the blog. Any rate, November was very busy. Grandma Shell-bell flew out for Avery's 7th birthday and spent 2 weeks in our chaotic home. The kids loved every moment of it. Avery chose to have a family party at chucky cheese rather than having friends over. So we opened some gifts here at the house and then headed out to chucky cheeses for some cardboard pizza and video games. Good times! Thanks for coming Shelley, it made Avery's week. Thanksgiving was also pretty low key. Heidi slaved in the kitchen and made us all a great meal. We met up with some friends for desert afterwards. Overall, it was very nice but we admit it sure is different not being around family for the holidays.

Lorryn was so tired she fell asleep sitting up afterwards.

Avery also had her school program. The general them was about South Dakota pride and how the state developed. They sang a bunch of songs in sioux and were instructed to dress nice or in Cowboy/Cowgirl outfits.

Thanksgiving dinner

Did some pheasant hunting after Thanksgiving with some friends of mine. It was a blast. We pounded a few. When I got home, Avery wanted to help me clean them. Scott wanted nothing to do with it.

Decorating the christmas tree.
